How many years have women been taking fosomax when they end up with osteonecrosis?

The condition is pretty rare, especially in oral use. Of those that have had the condition, most have been cases of use in IV treatment to counter effects of metastatic bone cancer. It is suggested that if you are going to have oral surgery to do so before starting biphosphonate therapy for osteoporosis. Let your dentist know if you are using Fosomax or for that matter, any drugs you are using.
