My mother is 52 and she is suffering from osteoarthritis, the pain derives from her knees down to her legs and elbows and fingers. I'm 71 and have similar problems. Used to take ibuprofen. Read a letter in a magazine by a sufferer who recommended eating a handful of red/black grapes every day. It worked for me, not a complete cure but I don't have to take the tablets now (2 years). It takes a month or two to take effect. Continue with the pain-killers until no longer needed. Apparently the grapes contain a substance which helps. Hope it works for your mum. They claim certo with grape juice eases the pain. Certo is used in canning. Another try is ginger about 2 tablespoons a day...I would look into ginger type tablets at GNC or wherever. |
