I am 35 yrs old and have osteoarthritis in my hips.?


Does anyone know if osteoarthritis is a disability to get Social Security. I have it moderate to severe in my left hip and moderate in my right. I also have degenerative disc disease and disc problems. I havent worked in 5 yrs full time because of all the pain. I am currently taking vicodin for the pain and at nite a muscle relaxor and neurtin.

Maybe, maybe not. Your question cannot be fully answered here in this limited forum. It depends on how you complain and what the medical records show. Your age will be an adverse factor, but that can be overcome.

Seek legal council from an attorney that specializes in Social Security disability.most cases it shouldn't cost you anything out of pocket... check the yellow pages in your phone directory... my oldest brother is on disability from arthritis as well..
