Osteoarthritis,my Mum has been told she has this in her knee.? |
Does anyone know if there is a herbal supplement,or change in diet that can help this? It's wear and tear of the joints. She needs to watch her weight, keep her joints moving and take proper painkillers and anti-inflammatories from her GP. Research has shown alternative treatments are of little value. Yes, even glucosamine. Take cod liver oil for joint pain. I agree cod liver oil suppliments or fish oil- youan get tehm froma ny good herbal shops or supermarkets take cod liver oil it oils your joints and stops the joints from crunching. cod liver oil and also glucosamine sulphate (spelling?) my mum has this and finds these help. Try going to a health food shop or herbal supplement shop and asking the staff, they tend to be very knowledgable about these things :) i have osteoarthritis in both my knees , not alot you can do , excises is very good , i go to the gym 3 times a week and i am 61yrs old it does help same old adage , use it or lose it, as one gets older things tend to wear out but excises is so very good for a lot of things , i have only been going for 10mths, and have lost 1st and a half too, do not know where you live but my Dr's gave me a prescription for the gym it worked so i joined tell your mum to speak with her doc, hope this helps This is what I take for my bones and joints,Calcium&Vitamin D capsules...take two every day. It could help your mother also. HOMEOPATHIC TREATMENT FOR ARTHRITIS without any side effects or complications of any sort, (Arthritis including Gout, Arthritis Deformans/Osteoarthritis and Rheumatism) :- not cod liver oil - take Omega-3 capsules and add in a glucosamine sulphate supplement. My mom takes a product called AR-Encap (Thorne Research) her arthritis pain is gone in 20 minutes and she is getting around a lot better Hi Rain bow, yes, nutritional supplements like glucosamine sulfate, chondroitin sulfate, niacinamide (vitamin B3), S-adenosyl-methionine (SAMe), and vitamin E may also be useful in treating knee pain due to osteoarthritisNutritional supplements like glucosamine sulfate, chondroitin sulfate, niacinamide (vitamin B3), S-adenosyl-methionine (SAMe), and vitamin E may be useful in treating knee pain due to osteoarthritis. I am suggesting some alternative medicines from Ayurveda, Indian medicine. She can use Dhanwantharam Tail, Rumalaya forte Tablet, Stifain Tablet, Arjith forte capsule, Dasmoolaharitaki Leha for internal use. Please use Murivenna, Myaxyl liniment for external application. This will surely helps her. There is an herbalist/iridologist that has a website that has an herbal treatment plan for arthritis. The plan for osteoarthritis is not too different from this, but I believe that he adds one more product: Whole Leaf Aloe Vera Juice. |
