Should the Sale of Organs be Legalised? |
Today in the Independent it was reported Amy Friedman associate professor of surgery at Yale University School of Medicine saying "The demand for Life Saving organ transplantation has so outpaced supply that waiting patients and transplant teams are desparate." International crime syndicates are cashing in on the shortage drawn from high profitsat can be made from trafficing on human organs 1. Kidney patients are known to have travelled abroad from Britain, mainly to India, to buy replacement organs. A survey from Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, in 2002 found 29NHS patients who had bought kidneys, Half of which failed. A third of patients dieing. Absolutely, who needs two kidneys anyway! Hell no cause then people would be killing to save their loved ones (and it does already happen in some places). Everyone should sign their donor card on their license. I saw this on Sky News and think it could be an option worth considering, but you'd also need to consider paying for organs from dead people and then also for sperm or egg donation (as in the UK you only get your expenses). yes NO because it will lead to people being murdered just for their Kidneys or Liver etc. Anything that has monetary value in this world is subject to fraud and worse so definitely NO no ! Of course it should. This is my body and I should be able to dispose of the various parts in a way that I see fit, whilst I am still alive, and not have someone steal my parts when I am gone. yes I;m waiting for a kidney i would and will buy one unless thers some altruistic perso out there who will give me one no, definitely not. You only have to look at China to see whats going on. People are been sentenced to death just so the government can profit from those who are desperate. it's disgusting. No Churches have done it for hundreds of years oh yes,,, I bought one the other day from dodgy dave and found that one of the notes dont work all proper ..like |
