Organ and tissue transplants offer patients a new chance at healthy, productive, normal lives and return them to their families, friends and communities. You have the power to change someone's world by being a donor. It's about living. It's about Life My mom just gave my aunt (her older sister) a kidney!!! Yay! yes yes yes Yes I am. They can have what ever they want after i die. The way I look at it is part of me will still be alive long after I am gone. As well why take good organs to the grave when they may be used to enhance or save someones life. So you really meant to ask "are you an organ donor". The answer is of course, who isn't? Yes I am an organ donor and proud of it. Yes!... I became an organ donor when I got my driver's permit. Remeber: You CAN make donations in life. i can,t when i grow i will |

I am an organ donor...I won't need them as far as I know... I think there are some religions that aren't for it but it works for me ...Good question. Organ donation means tissue typing. Therefore if you have a rare blood group, or tissue type, chances of getting any organ are slim. Likewise they like to match as close as possible, if push comes ... i don't know about a cadaver ... but as a live donor, they put you through a checkup that you wouldn't believe.. it took about 4 months to get the go ahead. blood test ,,urine test ,, tes... There is much more consideration that goes into organ donation than just blood type. I'm not even sure blood type is that big of a consideration when donating organs. It has to do more with g... There is no age limit- it all depends on your health. You can read the guidelines here ... Cons: If your dying and they see you have a chek mark on your drivers licsence, they will not try to save your life, but your organs only.
