Forced Organ donation? My G.P issued a prescription You have to mark that you do not want to donate your organs |
If you do not know. You have to MARK THE BACK OF THE PRESCRIPTION IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO CONSENT to your organs being donated..and it does not say for what purpose, or where they will be donated to. Does a person have to keep marking each prescription, they receive, to validate that they do not want to donate their organs. Was it E.U law to reverse, consent methods, and to place it on the back of G.P.prescriptions. Is this on all prescriptions now or has it stopped. No one can force you to donate your organs, in fact if you sign the spot on the back of your drivers license saying you do wish to donate your organs and your family says no after your death then they CANNOT harvest your organs. If you do, or do not want to donate I suggest you talk it over with your next of kin and make your wishes clear. They're the ones with the final call. Never heard of such a thing. If you were to suffer a traumatic brain injury and the doctors were trying to find out if you are an organ donor do you REALLY think they are going to go track down all your old paper prescriptions to see what is written on the back? Stop being an asshole! What the **** do you need your organs for after you die? i dont know. honestly its kinda ***-holish not to be a donor. lots of people are dying because there is an organ shortage, if you need an organ later in life to live and somebody dies in a car accident, would you want them to donate to you, or would you rather have that organ thrown away and die because the person "wanted to be buried whole." i hope if you ever need an organ you will opt not to receive one and give it to someone else, since you werent willing to do the same for another person. I know what you're on about, it's still there, but I just leave it blank. No offence to the people without organs but I've heard that there are some doctors who don't even wait until you're properly dead before tearing out your organs if they know you've consented to organ donation, or else they don't attempt to revive you. Sorry, but my life is more important than anyone else's. Never heard of that one before! Organ donation is a personal choice people!!! Stop calling people names because they aren't donors! Sometimes their religions forbid donation, regardless of whether or not you think they are being selfish!!! If you are waiting for a organ and you don't get it in time, then God meant it to be that way, and vice versa, God intended differently if you do get your organ in time!!! Also, if you have on your license that you want to donate, that is a legal, binding contract with the state that no one can override, not even your family. i have never heard of this if you dont want to be a organ donar then no one can make you myself and my husband both carry donar cards and are registererd on the donar list but it is your choice not your gp Regardless of what you sign up to now, the end decision will be left to your next of kin. They tell you this even when you sign the organ donors register. This means that even though my name is on the register, it is still up to my next of kin to decide whether to let them take my organs. If i were you i would make it clear to your family what i would like to happen to my body should i ever die. |
