Do you believe in organ donation? |
Is there any organ you wouldn't like to donate? My sister says she would donate everything except her eyes. My son was killed when he was 25-yrs of age, and because the authorities did not look into his wallet, they did not see that he was an organ donor. Fortunately, I did, and called the hospital, as my son was still there, as he was killed on a week-end, you see, the "eyes" are good for 48-hrs. The only organ that can still be used. The CNIFB (Canadian National Institute For The Blind), sent an Ophthalmologist, and to-day, 2 sightless people now SEE through my son's donation. Good for your sister, now let her read this. Remember, the eyes are the window to the sole. i do organ donation exists i would donate everything but my heart. do you get it its a joke... yeah i know not that funny i would give everything. if something of mine would be useful to someone else (and i am dead obviously, or i dont need it -kidney or sumthin) then i would definitely give any and all of my organs away. eyes included, although i do not see how that would work exactly. I would donate everything on the inside and the outside of my body if it were healthy and could do someone else some good They can take whatever they need, but my husband said he doesn't want me to donate my eyes. Like, what does he need `em for? I could donate any organ except for the A** because I dont want it installed on a gay guy. one should only donate an organ, if it is in full working order, as it could be very expensive for the recipient if they have to replace the valves or pipework. yes... if you die, there isnt any use for your body anymore... except to donate your organs and save someone else. i agree... id donate everything except my eyes... i dunno it just seems creepy the thought of someone walking around with your eyes. and the eyes are what people look at when theyre talking to you...thats what i use to see... it just seems to weird. no im not. honestly i would as long as when im gone i dont look all wierd so that my loved ones can say good bye and have it look like me I believe in donating organs if it means saving someone's life. I would donate mine after I die if it means someone else can live a full and happy life. Knowing that I made some family happy by saving someone they love would make my life complete! I look at this way, I am willing to donate anything that I would be prepared to receive. i would donate everything. you're going to be dead, you might as well let other people live with your organs. there is no point in keeping anything, it's not like you're going to be needing them in a box... Definitely! So much so that I am considering offering my whole body for the use of Medical Science i would donate all that would be of any good to anyone because you cant take anything out of this life into the next (if there is a next) if you can help people while you live why not help after you die OR IF YOUR SELFISH YOU CAN GET BURNED OR JUST ROT AWAY what a waste THAT WOULD BE I firmly believe in donating....I mean, it isn't as if I will need any of it after I die. definitely, just like helpin someone hurt in street its the right thing to do I do. It is even listed on my drivers license that I am an organ donor. i would donate everything, even my eyes. I think I have the same view as a few other anything except my face ( I think you can donate this now) and my eyes, It is because everything else is inside you and I think that people who knew me would find it strange seeing someone else with my face or eyes. I'd donate all organs. Can't take it with you. I feel the same as your sister and regarding accepting someone else's eyes then why not that would have been their choice mine is not, anything else they are welcome to. Yes I am an organ doner and strongly believe in it. I will donate everything apart from my pancreas because it is genetically flawed and would be of no use to another human being. I would like to go on record as saying I would never donate anything and I would never like anything donated to me. I don't care if a donated organ could save my life, I want to be me to the end, even if that means it's premature! Yes I do believe in Organ Donation. However, I didnt always. My son was born to have renal failure = no kidneys. If organs had been available, perhaps my son would still be alive. I do believe organs should be donated. It could give someone a second chance. Exspecially those who are young, and have not yet had a chance to even experience life. I will be donating my entire body, everything! It will be the one lasting gift I'll leave behind, to hopefully make a difference in someones life somewhere. I want to be someones miracle. If every body on this planet could just donate, even one organ, what a difference that would make, to someone. The list for organs is bewildering. People die just waiting, and waiting, and waiting. The more people donate, the shorter that list could be. You posed an eye opening question. I hope all who read it, at least ponder the idea. I would donate any part of my body. It would just rot anyway so someone is as well getting the use out of it. Yeah i believe in donating organs both myself & partner have the cards & i would donate my kids organs as well but not their beautiful little blue/brown eyes,I don't think my eyes would be any good as i wear specks. I think that it should be law to stop people dying . I made a conscious decision to carry a donor card when I was 10 and I've carried one ever since. My parents believe in organ donation as well. |
