What is organ donation and transplantation?

I am an organ donor, when I die my organs (limited in my case) will be transplanted to live people so that can live. Organs such heart, liver, kidney, lungs, skin and eyes etc. are taken from you and placed in another person to keep them alive or to repair damage that, that person is unable to. There is a terrible shortage of organ donors. It is important that you let your family know this is something you want to do and that you legally set it up. Many family's don't like the idea of their loved doing this and stop it from happening.

Organ donation is when someone donates their organs to someone and transplantation is when you take said organs and place them in another person........
