Blood/Organ Donor Ages.?

Even new born babies are organ donors - with their parents' consent.

If you register to be an organ donor when you are under 18, even if the registry is considered a legal document of your wishes, you cannot donate unless your parents give permission.

I believe to donate blood you should be 18 yrs of age, to be a organ donor you should be able to do so when you get your drivers license.

Even in my fiftyerth age I am donating blood

To donate you have to be at least 16yrs old, and I believe the weight requirement is 110lbs. The weight could have gone up, but as far as I know 110lbs is the weight requirement to donate blood.

As for donating an organ, you have to be at least 18. That however hasn't changed in sometime and I don't expect that it will. Good luck and have a great day!!
