Oral cancer? =[?

i think .. and im pretty suure , that i have oral cancer. last week i went for an xray due to chest pains. and the doctor also looked at the back of my throat. turns out i had a sinus infection. if i did have oral cancer somewhere in my mouth , would the doctor be able to tell when he looked at the back of my throat. and would something have showed up in the xrays? pleasee help

no my doctor didnt tell me that i had oral cancer. im just assuming i do because of the symptoms i have. i have lumps on the back of my tongue that i never noticed before, and it seems like im getting things that feel like canker sores all over my mouth. plus i have this hard thing on the bottom of my mouth .its on the jaw , towards the front of my mouth. a lot of people are telling me that its probably a torus , but i worry a lot and my luck its probably

Need more details.. why do you think you have oral cancer? Is it from the sinus infection symptoms or do you have an ulcer that will not heal?

Did your Doctor say you had oral cancer or are you jumping to conclusions? Looking at the back of your throat is just part of the examination for upper respiratory infections. Most oral cancer is found on the tongue, lips or cheeks. Throat cancer is something different. And tests would have to confirm this.

I'm positive that if your Dr suspected Cancer he would have requested that you go through more tests & then see an Oncologist for follow up.
Seems you are a worry wart & anxious,
I would try to calm down & try not to think the worst.

i think its just alcers in youre mouth sometimes they can get big and you can assume the worst i dont think they can show up the x rays

You might. but instead of asking us on awnsers, please ask your doctor. We would have to see it!
