Another question about oral cancer?

i think i may have oral cancer .. i have bumps at the back of my tongue, things that seem like canker sores in my mouth , about three of them. and i have a hard lump on the floor of my mouth .. kinda on my gum toward the front of my mouth. people are telling me its probably a torus .. but like its probably a hard tumour or something like that. i found lumps on my neck a few weeks ago .. went to the doctor and he said i had a sinus infection. he said thats what probably caused lumps. plus i was given an xray cause of chest pains. if i did have oral cancer .. would the doctor have been able to tell when he looked at the back of my throat .. or when i had the xray done? sometimes the bottom half of my face feels like its going numb. im taking amoxicillin for the infection. could that be why its like that ? pleasee help :) thankss

I answered one of your newer questions about this but I will still answer this. Lumps on your neck? like your lymph nodes are swollen or like actual lumps? My mother has oral cancer and she had to go to the dentist/oral surgen to find out what it was, which is probably where you should go [ for the lumps in your mouth, btw how big are they? ] They will probably do a biopsy on them [ takes less then 2 weeks to do, and then give you results and you have to go from there. My mothers oral cancer has spread to her lymph nodes, which is not good and she has to have surgery on them and her tongue. Please go to your dentist/oral surgeon and get checked out cancer is nothing to mess with, it is scary.

Ask to be referred to a dental surgeon that specializes in oral cancer, they will be able to give you a definitive answer.
