Does oral sex lead to oral cancer for men who give oral sex to women?

they claim that women who give oral sex to men will get cancer!! ( our sex lives in this country has officially went to hell in a handbasket!!!)

You are referring to are recent report that did show that a strain of HPV (16 and 18) can be transmitted by men to women by oral sex and that it increases their chances of having oral cancer.

The important point here is that it increases their chances not that they're going to get oral cancer. Smoking increases your chance of getting oral cancer also. If you're smoking and giving oral sex I would think that would increase your chances even further.

But the report you're referring to is absolutely correct. Keep in mind that HPV can be spread by men without them ever having knowledge. It is also believe that more than 50% of the men in the United States actually has the virus and carry it. Other forms of HPV cause cervical cancer.

Any women that are thinking about becoming sexually and it should deftly get the HPV vaccine. Currently it protects against cervical cancer its called Gardasil 鈥?interestingly also protects against genital warts. HPV 16 and 18 cause 70% of all cervical cancers.

If I was a woman I would be standing in line to get this鈥? Seriously. There is one issue obviously that makes it difficult. The drug is FDA approved and recommended for women 9 to 26鈥? at first it seems like an awful strange age group. But as the vaccine manufacturer points out if you've already been sexually active with a lot of men you have probably come in contact with the virus already and the vaccine will not help then鈥? but then again it wouldn't hurt.

It is believed that men carry HPV without ever having knowledge of it. It's believed that they have no symptoms or issues鈥?. however it may one day be proved that it is the root cause of prostate cancer. No HPV vaccine exist for men yet.

Please do not confuse HPV with HIV two totally different diseases.
