Oral cancer or mouth sores?

Is there any easy way to distinguish between the two?
I get sore in my mouth often (once or twice a month), but last week three of them developed out of nowhere and aren't going away... after looking at picture of oral cancer, I can't tell the two apart. Is there any easy way to distinguish between the two?

mouth sores will last only for a couple of days. there is pain and superficial meaning it is not penetrating while cancer on the other hand is mostly asymptomatic meaning no pain or swelling and it is mostly chronic in nature. The best way for you to do is to visit your dental surgeon for proper diagnosis and laboratory examinations.

are the sore's growing... go to a dentist and have it check out...

The dentist will be able to tell you better than anyone else.
I do randomly get sores in my mouth sometimes too and they haven't turned out to be anything.
