Oral cancer after a radical neck dissection?

my husbandhad surgery done in august of 06 cancer came back in june doing chemo had to stop that because the jaw bone is broke into thought they would do surgery to fix it also a whole started in his chin and when drinks it comes under his chin his chin looks like its going to fall off how can get him to another surgen when they as ther dr wont touch him can i get the dr. to sign a release and howdo i do that need to w very soon thank you

No ethical surgeon tries to correct another doctor's attempts, especially in the case of head and neck cancer.
I can only assume the jaw broke because of radiation. Since he's already undergone radiation, he can't have more. The hole under his chin may be due to the surgical site coming apart, also due to radiation side-effects.
The only thing I can suggest is thickening the liquids and plugging the hole with gauze held in place during intake. Ask the ENT to refer your husband to a speech pathologist who can help with the problems he is having with oral intake. Other than these suggestions, it may just be easier to have a gastrostomy or PEG tube inserted so he can get enough nutrition without having it be exhausting.
