HELP...Is this oral cancer?

Hi,
An oral lesion/cyst has appeared in my mouth and I'm just freaking out!
It's the size of a pea, clear(no blood) and it's a soft tissue lesion. It's grown inside my mouth behind my lower incisor teeth on the floor of my mouth.
It doesn't hurt, but I don't know what it is?!! Can some one tell me what it can be? Do I need to show it to a dentist? here are the pictures...

sorry; i couldn't see your photos!

Here's the stuff to look for - is it irregularly shaped? are there different colors to the lesion? Have you smoked heavily for a number of years? Is it painful? is it more than a centimeter across? does it have raised borders?

If you answer Yes to any two of these, get to a dentist or doctor quick! By and large tho', if the lesion disapears within 10-14 days, you're ok. if it lasts longer than 2 weeks, then get it looked at.

The good news is, even if it is, say, a squamous cell carcinoma, it's pretty easy to treat if caught early. More likely it's probably just a mucocoele, which is irritating but harmless.

email me if you have more questions! this id at yahoo

I can't see ur pictures. yes, I would see the dentist. They would tell u immediately or if it's irregular, they would take a sample and send it to the lab. My sister had a little bump on her lip caused by salivary glands and they just removed it with numbing. But see the dentist, they can tell u for sure. Good luck!
