Is there a web site to whom I can chat with about oral cancer, when I should see a dr.?

I have a white spot on the back of my throat. I have problems swallowing, it feels like there is something caught in my throat. I have had cancer of the palete in the past. Shhould I be worried and when should I see a DR.

The feeling of having a problem swallowing is certainly a worrisome symptom. I think you already know that you need to see an ENT guy immediately for a biopsy. I am hoping the biopsy will be negative but you need to find out for sure and right now.

The best list that I know of for oral cancers in the ACOR list. It can be found at:

http://listserv.acor.org/archives/ec-gro...

ACOR sponsors lists for over a hundred types of cancer. These lists are non-commercial and monitored to keep off spam and keep conversation focused on cancer issues. I highly recommend that you join and talk with the people there about what is happening with you.

good luck with your biopsy

You need to see a doc ASAP!!! If you've already had palatal cancer, why are you in such denial about this being a recurrence?
