Is oral cancer linked to heredity? |
please tell me!!!!! It depends on the type of cancer it if there are gentic links to it. Please visit this website to find out information on the links of gentics with oral cancer. Oral cancer can be caused from other illness and cancers. So no then it is not a gentic link. The website is: If im not mistaken all cancers are linked to heredity. Just becareful & stuff. So if there are people in your family (especially over several generations) who develop cancer, you should be aware of it, and see your doctor to find out what you can do to prevent or detect it early. heredity increases your likelihood of having cancer but lifestyle still is major cause of developing cancer. like most oral cancer develops from smoking or alcohol drinking. most of the time no its not no one else in my husbands family had mouth cancer or cancer at all and there was 11 of them |
