Will a drug test come up positive for opiates if I am taking suboxone? I need this question answered ASAP! tku |
About drug testing, I want to know if suboxone will show up as positive for opiates. Please, I need help on this right away!!! thank you all in advance In most cases, no, it will not, but this is dependent on how much you are taking. Unless they do a GC/MS or are specifically looking for buprenorphine, then it will not show up; however, in long term dosing of Suboxone, it is possible that some of the naloxone (which is a derivative of oxymorphone), will show a positive test for I don't know what the two are, but if you are taking anything - it will show up on the test. I've seen the test cards and the diff. categories on them. If it's like an Rx, then let the nurse know. |
