Positive drug test for opiates?..taking Risperdol?

My 15yr. old takes Risperdol and has tested positive for opiates. His probation officer says it is probably the Risperdol, but probably isn't good enough for me. anyone know?????

No, Risperdol should not cause a positive result for opiates on a drug test. INterestingly, sometimes poppy seeds can, though.

he has a naive parole officer (or lazy)
