To Cry Uncle YES YES YES Ultram DOES test posative for opiates cuz I failed My test at probation twice?

failing a test at pobation is bad try two in a week and have ur probation officer not believe u I tested posative for opiates twice in a week and its cuz i take Ultram so Im headed for the bighouse and it was definately the ultram BEWARE

Boy I am so glad someone wrote this. They say Ultram is non-narcotic, thus non-opiate. FALSE. It is totally synthetic. Ultram is a narcotic and it has a mild opiate in it FACT!that randomly targets receptors. I feel this drug is deadlier than conventional opiates because it has a longer half life, 9 hours and is calibrated in high milligrams and works on your brain registries as serotonin.Which conventional opiates do not. FACT! It can take up to 21 days to get Ultram out of you were a conventional pain-killer like oxycodone, or hydrocodone, morphine and codiene only take three. FACT! If a person is already physically dependant this drug can be deadly. Myself and other's I know experienced withdrawal that made conventional opiate withdrawl look like a cake walk and for some people that are out there that blasted me, I am NO junkie, I was in pain management for years, suffer from a degenerating spine and completely legit. Unlike conventional opiates that block receptors and that's it, Ultram works on serotonin which if you decrease a dose you will realize has the most mind altering and terrible physical/Mental withdrawal you ever felt in your life plus sever headaches and Severe depression, Bone pain, joint pain, flu like symptoms and brain zaps. This drug far excels anything an oxy can do! I am not the only one, type in "Ultrams suck" on the computer and see what you get, especially on google. Ultam's weak opiate will not target all receptors but fills them randomly, hence it can be called a confused drug, not knowing where to go. This is a relatively new drug and I am for certain in the next decade this drug will be prescribed a lot more cautiously. I went through oxycontins, opiates and weaned off 200mg 's a day of methadone in my hand, (all legally) and this could not hold a candle compared to what ultram gave me. (the withdrawal lasted 11 days with nothing and I never slept a night) Also I responded to a question/answer on this site and warned a woman about it, let me tell you, I will never do that again, she said I deserved all the withdrawal I got. And anyone that has ever been their would not wish this on Hitler! And I was just trying to be helpul. Again it does not do this to everyone, yet! AND i SAY YET. aNYONE ON THIS FOR 10 YEARS AND SUDDENLY REALIZES THEY SKIP A DOSE ARE GOING TO GO THROUGH HELL.Plus it needs to be really increased! Bad stuff! Again I know people that take it for years and don't have an issue, because they don't stop but WE must mention the girl at the bank I know that took them prescribed for only three days and got exactly what I did, could not even get out of bed, bloodshot eyes, (looked like she didn't sleep in a year) and feelings like she was gonna have a stroke. My response, "be glad it hit you that quickly." Being the dose is 50 mg's, they are exceedingly difficult to wean off of. A lot of Doctors and rehab centers compare to a a regular opiate, PERIOD. And remember when all drugs first come out the companies outright LIE and say not habit forming, look at Ambien. A woman got up fried a dozen eggs and drove 20 miles to see her sister, and DID not remember it. Nice! But it is non-habit forming.Everytime I see Ultram on here, I am warning everyone. But again, I think this would apply to mostly physically dependant people on opiates, there is no reason if on conventional pain-killers to supplement it with this in my opinion.

Wow thats very good information, I've been in pain management for a year and am currently on dilaudid, however I have been on tramadol here and there, I never thought anything about it because it says in the description of the drug NON NARCOTIC, and now that I look back it all makes sense the nausea, blood shot eyes inability to sleep. Thanks for the info
