What is a Dulaney's lens?

I need the definition for the ophthalmology chapter for the medical transcription course I'm taking from MedTrans.

These lens pretty much one-side concave lens. Literally in the shape of a "D". They are used in those school overhead projectors (the ones that use transparencies). The importance is that these lens are great when focussing/converging light rays on one point to improve brightness and contrast (pretty much how a projector works).
