I am interesed in oncology and i would like to develop a career in it where can i find info on jobs offered?

I am interested in the subject and the things that it works with i just dont know what jobs that are offered besides doctors. I am looking to find a major for school.

Your local hospital and also colleges.

if you want to work with patients you can be a nurse or medical assistant or technician.
If you want to do the research, you can study biology and work as a lab technician.

I am an Oncology Nurse in a hospital. I applied as a Registered Nurse entry level position 11 years ago and stayed. I think it is very rewarding.
A desk clerk at the hospital where I work, who just graduated from the University of Illinois College of Nursing accepted a job at Sianai hospital in Chicago on an Oncology unit in an entry level Oncology RN.
We rubbed off on her and we are so thrilled we passed on our passion.
We work a lot with physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, radiation oncology, MRI, CT and Ultrasound techs. We treat bone fractures with the help of orthopedics and do just all kinds of things.
We sent pts to radiation and there are techs in radiation therapy as well as nurses and Radiation Physicist. Oncology is so diverse and
is a very broad field. Good luck in your endeavors.
