What could the following symptoms indicate? The main one is swollen lymph nodes under my chin and on my neck.

I've been seeing my primary care physician for the past 5 1/2 months for swollen lymph nodes under my chin and down the sides of my neck. I'm seeing an oncology specialist tomorrow for the first time, but I wanted to see if anyone has experienced the following symptoms: swollen nodes as mentioned, fairly constant congestion (mostly in nose - stuffy and runny all the time ... some pale yellow mucus), and itchy skin (mostly my shins ... it can get really bad, especially at night). I had a CBC done in early Feb. and it indicated high EOS levels (14%) but otherwise everything else was normal. Any ideas?

A follow-up regarding the first answer ... I do not currently have a sore throat and have not had one recently. No fevers, night sweats, chills, or weight gain/loss either.

Are you sure your Dr. doesn't have your lymph nodes confused with your thyroid?

how about tonsilitis? with this though along with lots of infections your white blood count would be elevated. did they do a strep swab?

Allergies?
