What is the best source of omega 3 fatty acids ? |
u know i am struggling with my studies, especially revisions. i heard that omega3 fatty acids r good for brain and improving memory.so can u suggest food items reach in omega 3 fatty acids ? Don't over do it. Excess intake of omega 6 can cause increased water retention, raised blood pressure and raised blood clotting. Oily fish like mackerel. Fish or fish oil capsules. Best is to get it from food, eat fish. If you can take cod liver oil capsules daily. They're a good source of omega 3. Fish, eat lots of oily fish like cod and salmon. In case you want something like a supplement, go to a health food store. There are a lot of omega 3 oils that you can also take either in capsule or liquid form. You can also try flaxseed oil. besides oils from fish fish, you can try to get your hands on flax seed (which is good in bread or on your cereal), free range chicken eggs, krill (a shrimp type thing), milk and cheese from grass fed cows. take small size fish atleast 3 times in a week. its enough. |
