Will omega 3 fatty acids increase your triglyceride levels? Hey there. Omega 3 fatty acids shouldn't increase your level of triglycerides. In fact there is strong scientific evidence that consumption of omega 3 fatty acids can in fact LOWER your triglycerides - which of course is a good thing. I'm quoting my source below.
