What can I do to improve my brain, without using Omega 3 or 6 (or any fatty acids)?


I mean phisical health, not health as is intelligence.

Use rosemary..also do head massages vigorous and use a slant board at least once a day.

A stimulating rat Disneyland for test rats showed them growing new neurons (brain cells) and dendrites even in advanced age much more so than rats kept in plain cages, so an interesting environment, doing crosswords puzzles, and word searches etc will cause you o retain the memory etc you have and also increase IQ.

you should eat blueberries.....8oz. per day at least. they markedly improve brain function according to medical research....even if it's a marginal improvement that is good, the human brain is so powerful that a little goes a long ways:)))

What's wrong with Omega 3 or 6? They are healthful and promote brain health.

Start by doing crosswords then move on to suduko, that will tax your brain and keep you alert. Also take a daily walks and try and get more exercise. Keep the blood flowing to your brain by physical activity.

try adding salba to your foods (white sage seeds) it contains the o3&o6 without the meat based products.

Where in the word did you get the idea that any Omega product would help a brain problem ... There has been no scientific reviewed papers by REAL scientists to show that to be the case at all.

There was a great story I just read about improving the brain.

They tested people and found that just THINKING about actions can actually improve the brain and body for when it comes time to do those actions for real.

Therefore, if you wanted to dance better you would think through the motions each night while laying in bed. Also, if you had a test or a project you are working on, then while waiting places or in lines or walking or whatever... you think about the subject matter and go through the Book in your mind what you read over and over again. If it is a project, you go over the steps you have done or would like to do over and over again.

They said the brain is like training a muscle in the body. The more you use it on the task it will be doing the better and stronger it gets. Think about things over and over and you will get better at those subjects.

So you are improving your brain in a physical way... although you spelled physical wrong so intelligence isn't a bad thing either.

I am a terrible speller so I need all the help I can get.

Try it out. Learn how to spell physical so you never spell it wrong again... go over it over and over in your head. P H Y S I C A L


You can also look into LUCID DREAMING.

Use it to do things which you currently find difficult, stretching your memory, your mathematical skills, your logic etc. Only by using your brain in new ways, can you improve it.
I suspect that will be harder than taking Omega 3.

As much as you can. Read books. Its exersize for your mind.

The more you read, the more you know.

You COULD start by stop asking stupid questions!

Running, jogging, or walking regularly will increase your cardiovascular fitness, and that should increase your blood flow to the brain. In theory at least.

And my friend's grandmother always took these pills, fish oil, and those helped her.

Your brain is a muscle - excersise it! Things like words games, scrabble or boggle, puzzles, reading, sudoku, will keep your mind in shape in much the same way as your body benefits from exercise.

one single thing isn't going to improve your brain.
Stay on the omega (or substitute take flax oil)but it needs optimized with
B complex, gingkgo, lecithin, mangenese, bilberry and quercetin and anti oxidents. The anti oxident drinks they are coming out with are good as long as they aren't loaded with sweeteners. Also stay away from artificial sweeteners and diet drinks.

you can try to eat pig brain.

keep your brain active by doing crosswords and other puzzles also a good way to increase knowledge is by watching quiz shows,keep track of how many questions you get right the first time and then say a week later then a month later,you should see a slight increase each time.

Look up smart drugs on wikipedia
they look at all the nootropic drugs
they give reference to all the natural
remedies that infuence the brain
stay away from anything pharmacuetical
If you dont have high blood pressure you could try ginko biblioba
this brings more oxygen to the small capilaries of the brain and extemities it can be bought as capsules or tincture always follow and dosage instructions on the package
consulting a herbalist can be beneficial if you want a remedy that is suited to you and you need advice on dosage

Well as you can't even spell 'physical' I'd say there's not much hope really.
