As your opinion, what is ( are) fundamental issues of occupational therapy ? As the name implies occupational as in work, therapy as in quality. This course is designed as an introduction to the profession of occupational therapy. The student will become acquainted with the history of occupational therapy and the role of the occupational therapy assistant (OTA) within the profession. The healthcare system and position of the OTA in that system will be discussed. The student will be oriented to steps in the occupational therapy process using a developmental framework. |
