Is it possible to get a work visa if you are a OT Assistant or is it only if you are an Occupational Therapist Same answer as OT's.. As a matter of fact, there is an even bigger shortage of COTA's. So yes, it should be pretty easy. However, I'm not sure how much job satisfaction you'll get from being an assistant. Part of what I enjoy about being an OTR is being able to problem solve, set treatment plans in motion, evaluations, and being able to work as a consultant. A COTA can not do any of those things. |
