What are 5 things that represent Occupational Therapy?

First would be excellent observation. Next good listener. Then you need the ability to put yourself in the Clients situation and see life from the clients viewpoint. After that it is improvisation.
I have Arthritis and the OT was here last month, observed me, listened to what was going on, put herself in my situation, saw my viewpoint and then produced what looked like a plastic soft tube and then showed me how this tube placed over the handle of a knife will allow me to cut food for eating or preparing dinner. Simple, but for me a God Send!
