Does Proactiv work?

I am 22 and I am in Occupational Therapy School and my face has started to break out. I have never had problems until about 2 years ago. It isn't that bad but I want to have clear skin for my internships and when I go to find a job. Does Proactiv work pretty well?

i used proactiv but to i was impatient for clear skin so i gave in and just went to a dermatologist. they took a few looks at my skin ..nothing major..and prescribed me some retin a micro which cleared up most of the breakouts i had on my forehead(i think it cleared up fast) and now its completely gone...I'd say if u want REAL results go to a dermatologist they can tell u exactly wat ur skin needs

hell ya it worked perfect with my brother, give it a shot>>>

From what I have seen in my friends, yes, only way to know is to try, also talk to you doctor, if you have further questions.

Also, fyi, try using shampoo for a face wash for a few weeks and see what happens, that is what worked for me, I haven't had a zit in 5 years!

Yes. Yes. Yes.

I swear by it.
I know that it hasn't worked for some people but it really helped me when nothing else did.

I had very good luck with Proactiv. My face wasn't horrible to begin with, just a bump here and there occasionaly. It was enough to make me say ugh though. I also had very good luck with Acne Free Treatment System. My mom bought it for me at Wal-Mart for about $20. With either product I didn't even have a single breakout during that time of the month. Just recently I ran out of the Acne Free and have already had problems with breakouts again. I have been out for about a week or two. Good Luck!

Proactiv is a very interesting product. It can help a bunch but it takes disapline to stay with the routine. You wont see results until about 3 months after using it.

For quick ways to get your skin clear...

1. drink lots and lots of water
2. exfloiate your face with coffee grounds once a week.
3. Try different breathing techniques
