Can someone explain this to me?????

i recently got surgery to remove inflamation in my forearm up through my hand. the pathology report said it was dense fibrosis. what is that? Also now when i bend my wrist back and extend my fingers it hurts and it moves my skin just below my wrist and i need to get occupational therapy. can someone explain to me what flexor synovectomy is and what extrinsic tighness is in relation to my problem?

From what you told me it sounds like the inflammation in your wrist is from some kind of tendon or connective tissue problem. I am going to guess that you work at a job that requires the use of your hands a lot. Maybe at the computer a lot? Ectomy in medicine means "to remove". Flexor synovectomy means that they remove synovial tissue from the bottom of the wrist. Hopefully this helps.
