Is there epidemiologist who can evaluate scientists opinions on mercury health effect?

I need expert opinion from epidemiologist or occupational health expert who has expertise in evaluating scientists' reports/opinion. In my place nearly 1000 people were affected by mercury vapour and doctors who examined them confirmed there is mercury effect. The factory doctors took workers' past health records (these records are stupid) to medical researchers. They opined that there cannot be mercury health effect or there cannot be delayed mercury health problem or birth defects for children of mercury exposed women. I have these reports. I need help from various experts who can evaluate these reports and comment on this. thanks.

The U.S Dept. of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) can point you to state or federal officials who can review the findings. The scientific arm of the people that investigate are National Institute for Occupational Health, (NIOSH) and Centers of Desease Control (CDC)

I probably could do this for you (I am an epidemiologist), but I have found it to be difficult to communicate via Yahoo!Answers. that, and I am busy with a day-job (as an epidemiologist).

Instead, I would call your local health department and talk to the people in charge of Occupational Health or Toxics Epidemiology. Report the situation to them and see what's going on, whether the symptoms fit with Hg poisoning and whether there really is incidence greater than the expected levels in your population.
