Yes, it is too dangerous to hang Christmas decorations from on high.

It is an excuse for the Companies to save spending, and allowing staff time to put up the decorations.

Health and safety pah! What a lot of old rot. We moved to France and there is no such thing. At the school play there were 3 years old with plastic bags simulating the sound of the sea, and 8 year olds performing circus tricks on a wet stage. (It was outside and raining). Lots of little people slipped but no-one got hurt and everyone agreed it was a great show. Get over it health and safety, children need to experience danger, how else are they ever going to learn. Oh and don't start me on Christmas displays in offices etc!! What a crock! Oh and by the way Merry Christmas.xx

it was in the paper yesterday that a theatre has stopped the pantomime cast throwing sweets into the audience in case someone gets injured.

also in the paper a couple of months ago, a council sent someone out with a cherry picker to take the conkers down from a tree to stop kids having to climb the tree to get them.

the amount of legislation regarding health and safety is stupid now.
