High iq's are more likely to suffer obsessive compulsive disorder? |
i got iq 133 and 134 on some tests tourettes too maybe A lot of research suggests that people with mind illnesses have higher intelligence levels. Are we just the ones smart enough to seek treatment? Who knows. Yes Somebody lied to you about your IQ. yes I got 134 on my IQ and I believe I have OCD and social anxiety. Me too. I have dipolar and racing thoughts and my IQ test at 134. I have done the exact thing you describe. Being so in love (desperately) that I let everything in my life go. On reflection, I note that whenever I did that it was because other things in my life... I havent been diognosed with it, but im sure i have it, when i was little it was worse, now over time, ive gotten better, it doesnt so much control my life. i dont realise the things i do, but anyw... emotional problems do create mental disorders. ...go to google and look up criteria for obsessive compulsive disorder...they will give you the clinical signs for the disorder..there are many aspects to the disorder..organizers, germ phobes, counti... A good therapist could help you figure out why you do these behaviors. Also stay busy, the less time you have to think about these stresses the less they'll take you away from living your lif... ask your doctor ...could be...doesnt sound like its two extreme though...i have ocd, i cant eat certain things unless i eat them in even numbers, things have to be arranged just so on my counter, and sometimes i have... OCD is not about obsessing about finding a single missing object. OCD people perform "rituals" that comfort them. Hand washing, door locking, counting, doing things in a certain order ALL... |
