Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)? |
Hi, Hi there, Two pronged attack.... It isn't really something you can control on your own - you have to learn to manage it with the help of a therapist. Are you 100% sure you have OCD? It could be something else if it just started recently... Honey get yourself some therapy. OCD is a total *****. I have suffered with it for years. It makes me keep changing all the furniture around all the time. You are not alone. Good luck x take Zoloft 50 mg. tab, one each every morning till your doctor's order !!!! i think i have OCD too, i have to have things neat and i cant help it, its normall to affect your life you just have to get used to it and help yourself really, i suppose you could go somewhere that would help you and support you, lots of people have OCD it isnt rare but its hard. if you really want to get rid of it, go to your doctor, or just a person you think could help. i hope this has helped you. i dont know if it has [: bye xxx Could you re-write that for me it was not legible. SOUNDS LIKE OCD. I WAS DIAGNOSED 18 YEARS AGO WITH IT, I WAS 5 WHEN I GOT MY FIRST SIMPTOMS. IF THIS IS THE FIRST TIME FEELING LIKE THIS, MAKE AN APPT. FOR A PSYCHOLOGIST SO YOU CAN TALK IT OVER, GET THERAPY, MEDS, ETC.... I CONSTANTLY FEEL THAT WAY, ANYTHING SOMEBODY SAYS, DOES, REACTIONS, ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING BRINGS UN WANTED THOUGHTS THAT I CAN'T CONTROL AND THAT IS OCD. ACTUALLY THAT IS THE BIGGEST PART OF MINE, IT USED TO BE CHECKING, ARRANGING, CLEANING, ORDERING AND HOARDING, BUT I HAVE LEARNED TO CONTROL A LOT OF THAT BUT NOW THESE THOUGHTS SEEM TO TAKE OVER AND I CAN'T STOP THEM NO MATTER WHAT, THEY CONTROL MY BRAIN AND IF I TRY TO DROWN THOSE THOUGHTS WITH OTHER ONES, THE BAD ONES ALWAYS WIN. I HOPE THIS WAS HELPFUL, ATLEAST YOU KNOW YOU AREN'T ALONE, I FEEL LIKE I'M ALONE CONSTANTLY, BUT MILLIONS OF OTHERS SUFFER FROM IT ALSO.... TAKE CARE....HOPE EVERYTHING GOES WELL.... |
