ISN'T obesity good? SEE & reflect?

Sure, obesity is an epidemic and causes serious health problems, it also takes a lot of our taxes away because people with obesity have medical problems but ...

1) Obesity is a lifestyle, people choose to eat foods they like over exercising. (Yeah, people with genetic disposition could exercise and eat healthy as well.) Living in the U.S., I say we can't limit freedom.

2) They generate huge economics for companies, weight-watchers, gym, pharmacy, cloths, etc. That's a lot of revenue going on. They are part of the driving force behind capitalism.

3) They create loads of jobs for everyone, such as nurses, doctors, physical therapist, psychologist, journalist, tv host, advertistments, media, dietition...the list goes on.

Yes, I read somewhere that doctors are secretly laughing at us, while going to their Parking lots, thinking what a good society, having pizzas and a lot of fast food, pops, combos, thus generating all kind of diseases, making their revenue stable.

your right, it is their lifestyle. they just want to sit around and be a fatass so its their choice. we can't do anything about it only choose our own path.
when you mentioned why it is good (makes jobs etc.) it sounded as though people are taking advantage of them and are getting money from them. so its their own fault.

I disagree with your argument, but must say it is really though out. Bravo!
