How does obesity cause cancer?


I was reading an article today on how obesity has almost caught up with smoking as the number cause of cancer. What is the obesity/cancer link?

I've always been told that cancer cells are most predominately located in one's fat cells. Thus having more fat in/on one's body increases the chance of actually getting cancer. Report It
