What can obesity do to you?


I am doing a report on obesity and I can not find anything on the effects of obesity. Can anyone help?

Obese people are at higher risk for heart disease, the second leading cause of preventable death (the first being smoking), and for stroke, diabetes, hypertension, sleep apnea, osteoarthritis, gout, some forms of cancer, gallbladder, and joint diseases, as well as psychosocial problems.

The longer the obesity persists the higher the risks.

Heart disease, high cholesterol, slows you down and leads to bad joints, and depression

I know it causes high blood pressure, possible clogged artiries.

Bring down your self respect.
Lower your motivation.
Lower your sex drive.
Basically. . .it's brings everything in your life down a notch or two.
It's one of those things that effects you in everything you do.
Even at work.
