Obesity 'epidemic'?... What do you think? |
In America the new panic is an obesity epidemic. We are so fat now that it is an epidemic. The problem is generally because we have invented new ways to do everything w/o ever having to bet off our @sses. Also the fact that GenX as it calls itself is raised to have no motivation or initiative just to be the sordid waste of time and space that serves no purpose other than to be painful byproduct of society's many mistakes. But we still complain about how we don't know how we ended up raising six year old sumo champs! Now we're tryin' to come up with methods to lose the weight... again w/o ever having to get off our fat @$$! Now the reason I'm asking is because I want to see if there are some other perspectives as to why or how we have turned into virtual blimps... I agree. too many people don't want to do any sort of physical activity and eat too much fast food and then want an easy way to lose the weight. they claim they don't know how they gained the weight, or say they have tried everything to lose the weight, and then sue McDonald's for selling the food. i think that's bogus. it isn't any fast food restaurant's fault that people don't know when to stop eating. i hate people who get so fat and then want some drastic surgery to "fix" the problem. it's really sad that being fat is considered a disease now. a disease is usually something you can't prevent. being fat is something you brought on yourself by not shutting your mouth and not getting off your ***. it's really sad to see parents pumping their kids full of sodas and candy and fast food and then wonder how they end up fat. it's no coincidence that fat parents usually have fat kids. they pass their own bad eating and exercising habits on to the innocent kids who then do the same thing. it's sad. that's all. When i went to Las Vegas, i saw a woman come into a McDonalds, and order two of everything on the menu. Obesity may be increasing but it cannot be an "epidemic," because it is not caused by a communicable infectious agent. There's a growing trend of obesity in America, and it's been starting up since the onset of World War II. America has just become a nation on the go that does everything quickly and refuses, for the most part, to take time with their meals. Fast food joints and places that offer highly processed food have become common place throughout America. one is good , two is better three is great . but seriously we are now a society where everything is handed to us on a silver platter. |
