Obesity vs. Fast food?

im doing a paper for p.e. ninth grade on the movie "supersize me"
we need different views and interviews on obesity vs. fast food so are there any teachers, doctors, parents, ect who would like to chip in

What viewpoint are you looking for?

Fast food contributes to obesity primarily because it's very high calorie, low fiber and extremely high simple carbs which trigger an insulin release.

Obesity is an expensive disease -- health care, diabetic medical care, amputations, medications, kidney failure, dialysis, heart failure, hospital expenses. These expenses cause tax payers an enormous amount, especially for medicaid programs.

Fast food is eaten by everyone, but targeted at low income people. This is why everyone has $1 menu items. There is greater obesity among poor than middle class or rich.

Their eating habits are worse than the young people's.

Of course Obesity is an over indulgence that's in every walk of life. A gland problem can trigger this to where in their mind, their always hungry. A thyroid problem can do this also in an ounce of food seems to add a pound of weight. Most all heavy people I've meet are very caring good fun loving people with a weight problem

i think that movie is sort of a crock..its like this,if your fat don't go to mcdonalds and get a bigmac..i hate that resturants are getting sued because of some big person who can't make a decision to NOT eat whatever they want..i eat out three times a day..i watch my weight.i exercise..im not over weight and if i were,i wouldn't be going to the local mcdonalds blaming them..
