Obesity help.? |
Does anyone know anything about obesity aand the costs or anything at all? Obesity is directly or indirectly the number one cause of the majority of health problems in developed countries. We are literally eating ourselves to death. Ever wonder why rural Asian communities routinely have folks living into their hundreds and have virtually no incidence of diabetes, breast cancer, colon cancer, obesity, or any of it's complications? Simple... healthy diet and lots of exercise. Just the opposite of what we have here. Obesity is a very expensive condition. In addition to the price of food, it takes a toll on the body that requires frequent, extensive and expensive hospitalization. To add insult to injury, the morbidly corpulent are typically unable to work, which means they'll never be able to cover the costs of their own care. i know someone that is very obese. She weighs 3 times than her normal weight at 5'5. She is in her early 30's, she can't walk around good and hates being obese. Since she is obese, she has high blood pressure, diabetes, and has major back problems. She can't work because of her back. Between her medications and her get around chair, costs add up fast. Medical bills cost add up more than some one could imagine. She doesn't really care because she doesn't think that obesity is a disease or a health problem, because so many people are overweight. Obesity is a very serious condition. You must consult a dietitian, so he/she can advice you in proper foods to eat. Have a strong-will not to eat foods that is very sweet, too-much calories and fats. Always eat veges, it is very good to your health. Don't use diet tablets that it is not doctor-prescripted. Are you asking about surgery or just obesity in general? |
