Health problems associated with obesity?

I am doing a piece of coursework on Obesity, its causes, whos to blame etc..

I need to mention Hleath problems associated with obesity, two or three would do. Could you suggest a few health problems i could research, and if you want to say cancer, dont just say cancer, say what type of cancer cause theres a number of cancers.

Also if you can, i need to mention combined effects of exercise and diet, any hints on what i could write

high blood pressure
diabetes
poor circulation
hyperlipidemia
colon cancer
breast cancer
respiratory ailments
heart disease
joint problems
osteoarthritis
hypoxia
combined effects of diet and exercise allows you to build muscle strengthen cardio while losing the weight muscle growth promotes higher metabolism

i eat really healthely and do lots of exersise but im still over weight

Cardiovascular problems-
-increased fat in the arteries increases your risk for heart attacks & strokes.
-increased body weight puts increased stress on your heart
-High blood pressure

At high risk for type 2 diabetes.

Obviously combined effects of exercise and diet would relate to weight. Eat more, exercise less = weigh more. Eat less, exercise more= weigh less.

I think that food companies have something to do with it, with all their advertising (think McDonalds) but ultimately its the individuals' responsibility to care for their body.

Overweight and obese individuals are at increased risk for many diseases and health conditions, including the following:

Hypertension (high blood pressure)
Osteoarthritis (a degeneration of cartilage and its underlying bone within a joint)
Dyslipidemia (for example, high total cholesterol or high levels of triglycerides)
Type 2 diabetes
Coronary heart disease
Stroke
Gallbladder disease
Sleep apnea and respiratory problems
Some cancers (endometrial, breast, and colon)

I dont think you can "blame" obesity on anyone or anything. Everything contributes to it, whether its takeaway joints to models that make normal people feel so bad they turn to food.

I don't believe you get cancer from obesity. Diabetes and heart disease are associated with obesity and I think it's either the liver, pancreas, or kidneys that obesity takes it's toll on. Hope this helps, Google it!

I did a 15 page paper on obesity in the summer. I explained the health risks and everything, then I explained the causes.
If you want me to send you the paper for a reference (just don't copy it!) then let me know. You can go to my profile and send me an e-mail.

1.Heart attacks
2.Arthritis
3.Hypertension
4.Hyperlipidaemia
5.Stroke
Google " Obesity and health risks" and you will find lots of help.
