What is the best way to say'life threatening nut allergy' in French?

We are about to go to France with ou severely nut allergic 10 year old. We have been abroad many times and have managed pretty well, but find French food trickier than most . We have Epipens etc. but would love a really accurate French translation of: 'My daughter has a severe, life threatening allergy to all kinds of nuts. Please could you tell me, or check with the chef. if this is safe for her to eat?'

Your paragraph goes like this:
"Ma fille souffre d'une allergie mortelle 脿 tous les types de noix. Pourriez-vous me dire si ce plat en contient, ou v茅rifier aupr猫s de la cuisine pour le savoir?"

"ce plat" = "this dish"
"life-threatening nut allergy" = "allergie mortelle aux noix"

You could write this on a card and present it to the server. It'll help him or her to remember you, which is just an extra precaution since respectable establishments should be truly careful with that already.

Edit: I don't have enough points to vote ups or downs on others' answers, so I'll say here: answers #1 and #3 are completely nonsensical (they're erroneous machine translations--the word for nuts as a food is "noix", not "茅crous" (the name for parts that go with bolts). I guess they're perfect examples of when NOT to trust Babelfish.

Ma fille a un grave, allergie mena莽ante de la vie 脿 toutes sortes d'茅crous. Svp pourriez vous me dire, ou v茅rifiez avec le chef. s'il est s没r pour qu'elle mange ce?'

p.s. Here's a site you should bookmark when traveling with a nut-allergic child:
