Kissing With A Nut Allergy? |
Ok...so i have a nut allergy and i am really paranoid about it...and my bf wants 2 kiss me...i know he does...and i wanna kiss him...but i am worried about if he has eaten nuts and stuff and if i will have a reaction and die from kissing him. Part of me just wants 2 ask him 2 stop eating nuts 2...but that would b cruel 2 make him suffer 2...idk what 2 do anymore. Any suggestions? It depends on how serious your reaction to nuts is. You should check with your allergist, because if you don't kiss this boy surely someday you will kiss some boy. I am allergic to nuts and to bananas. My boyfriend cannot eat these things if he's going to be around me. I remember reading in the newspaper about a year ago about a child who died of allergic reaction to peanuts when kissed by boyfriend in the lunchroom after he had eaten a PB sandwich. He's not going to suffer if he refrains when around you. It would be far more cruel to kill you over a nut - wouldn't it? Nut allergy requires you to eat it. The proteins that you are allergic to are neutralized by saliva. maybe he doesn't want to kiss you. You need to warn your boyfriend about this as you are at risk by kissing him if he's been eating nuts. I can't kiss my son when I've been eating nuts as he's highly allergic. |
