Why does nut allergy get worse with age? is this to due memory cells?


Don't know if anyone will be able to answer this it鈥檚 an immunology question. I think it鈥檚 because memory cells retain the ability to recognise nut allergens and the numbers of circulating antibodies presumably increase on subsequent exposure. Makes rational sense, though I can鈥檛 find a reference that agrees with me.

no, your immune system isnt efficient for nuts thats all, it mostly oils in the nuts. . .

i agree with you. i have quite a few food allegies, and the more i eat of those particular foods the worser allergic reation i get.
