Can people with a nut allergy have bounty chocolate bar?

Can people with a nut allergy have bounty chocolate bar?

Well coconut is not actually a nut. Did you read the ingredient list on the package? It should say whether it may contain nuts or not. Personally, I would not let my peanut allergic son eat one. I prefer to stick to Smarties, Aero, Kit Kat, or Mars bars which are all nut free.

Technically, most chocolate bars without nuts and ones with nuts are produced in the same factories, so nuts or nut byproducts can accidently work their ways into them.

A Bounty chocolate bar does not traditionally have nuts though, no. But someone with moderate to severe nut allergies should avoid any candies that are produced in the same factories as candy with nuts.

you can have bounty unless is written differently on the pack..but why bounty? its full with sugar and artificial colors...have 70%organic dark chocolate..;)

It is a requirement for food companies to put allergy info under the ingredients. It will say something like "this product contains nuts or this product was manufactured in a plant that process peanuts, tree nuts, etc or this product was manufactured on shared equipment which also handles...." Get the idea? If your allergy is severe,I would steer away from anything that said all of the above.
