Where is infection control manual located in nursing homes?

Where is infection control manual located in nursing homes?

At the nurses station

I would hope both at the front desk so the public can view it and in the back offices (sometimes one per unit/floor).

Sometimes infection control posters are up in the halls or near the back offices/floor desks.

ask management if they don't know call the local heath department, they are suppose to have that handy and around for you to view anytime you wish

Every home shold have one, easily accessable, usually @ the nurses station in the "policy and procedures" book

At the nurses station. Of you can also ask your infection control nurse if you have specific questions.
