Does anyone know how to read a nuclear medicine full body bone scan image? |
My mother broke her arm and then fell again and she hurt on her right side and back worse pain then in her arm. Also hurt in her stomach. Her dr ordered her to have a full bldy bone scan and I always get copies of the images. I won't know the results until a month from now, that's the next apt. I would like to know how to find out how to read it so I can at least get a clue as to what's going on with my mother's health. Just to note, I found out a lot on how to read a ct scan, and x-rays, but can't find out how to read a bone scan. Can anyone help? Radiologists study for about 13 years to do this. I doubt you'll be able to read a bone scan correctly on the internet. |
