What are the symptoms if any of liver lesions and hemaginomas?

Recently found on CT scan, have also had CT with contrast and nuclear scans - waiting for more tests and possible biopsy. Yet experiencing extreme lower back pain that is at times debilitating.

In my experience, hepatic hemangiomas are just an incidental finding. But the experts say: Large hepatic hemangiomas do occur, can cause symptoms -- pain, nausea, or enlargement of the liver -- and even rupture (a rare event) causing severe pain and bleeding into the abdomen that can be an emergency.

Hemangiomas may cause bleeding or interfere with organ function, depending on their location. Most cavernous hemangiomas do not show symptoms. In rare cases, a cavernous hemangioma may rupture. (The only symptom may be an enlarged liver.) http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/...

Liver lesions are often painless. Pain usually comes from infection or swelling and usually is felt below the ribs in the front on the right side. I would talk to your doctor about the low back pain, but would doubt it is from liver lesions.
